This is a system with triple glazing units. Innovative solutions allow for the use of large, heavy, and thick glass units, as seen in this object where the highest units reach a height of 4.7 meters and a weight of 300 kilograms. The facade system smoothly integrates large double doors and automatically opening “MasterLine8” windows for smoke removal. This system is also used in the internal courtyard and roof skylight. The team faced challenges from day one as the project is highly individual and non-standard. Each vertical profile of the utilized system had a different height, trapezoidal-shaped glass units, and various cutting angles. The design of the showcases was done non-conventionally using the “Reynaers” calculation program and 3D modeling.
